About us

The company Vijci Kranjec is one of the most significant distributors of fasteners, fastening and connection technology, and suspension systems in the Republic of Croatia.

The history of the Kranjec family's business dates back to 1920, when they had one of the first ironworks in Zagreb called Metallum, which over the years developed into an iron foundry.

In 1980, Mr. Mladen Kranjec decided to start a business for metal haberdashery. Over time, the trade profiled itself towards screw goods and became one of the first small workshops for the production of screws.

Following the trends of the market, we decided to increase our trade to commercial activity and opened the first specialized retail and wholesale of screw goods. Over time, the offer in the shop expanded, and the professional staff was completed and perfected. In 2011, we started a wholesale and retail store with nautical equipment in Zagreb and thus developed our business towards nautical tourism.

Vijci Kranjec is a leading Croatian distributor of fasteners, fixing and connecting technology, and professional tools. With a long-standing tradition, we offer an extensive range of corded and cordless power tools from top global brands and operate our own wholesale and retail branches in Zagreb, Varaždin, and Split.

As an official Milwaukee distributor, we proudly operate three Milwaukee Heavy Duty Centers—in Zagreb, Varaždin, and Split—where we offer customers the complete range of cordless tools, hand tools, and accessories from this world-renowned brand, alongside expert advice on product selection.

With over 35,000 satisfied customers and a team of more than 50 skilled employees, we have been a trusted partner to tradespeople, construction companies, manufacturers, and retailers—both large and small—across Croatia for decades.
