WEICONLOCK AN 305-42 is a liquid sealant for metal threaded connections that prevents leakage of liquids and gases. It is most commonly used in hydraulics and pneumatics, where reliable sealing and joint safety are especially important. After application it cures inside the thread and forms a permanent seal, but the joint can be disassembled if needed with ordinary hand tools. The product is used in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, on pipes, valves and fittings, and in pressurized systems. It is suitable for industrial and service installations, as well as for potable water and gas installations. It prevents leakage without additional seals, is resistant to pressure and vibration, and does not crack or shrink after curing. The joint remains secure but is not permanently bonded. It replaces Teflon tape and sealing pastes and enables a clean and simple application. Intended for metal threads such as steel, brass and stainless steel.
