WEICON TOOLS Wire Stripper No. 5 Solar Pro tool for stripping insulation of solar cables 1.5–10 mm²

WEICON TOOLS Wire Stripper No. 5 Solar Pro is a professional automatic tool specially developed for stripping the insulation and jacket from standard photovoltaic cables, including solar cables of type H1Z2Z2-K.

A wide working range of 1.5 to 10 mm² enables the tool to be used in various photovoltaic installations. The pliers automatically adjust to the conductor cross-section, without the need for manual adjustment before stripping the insulation.

The blades are additionally hardened to allow easy stripping of multilayer rubber insulation of solar cables. The adjustable stopper allows setting the stripping length from 5 to 25 mm, and can be removed completely if required.

The tool also integrates an easily accessible side cutter for copper and aluminium conductors up to 3 mm in diameter. The narrow design facilitates work in hard-to-reach places, for example directly next to solar modules or an inverter.

The non-slip multi-component handle ensures a secure grip, while the tool can be locked after use for more compact storage. No. 5 Solar Pro also has a hole for attaching a safety lanyard and a surface for marking the tool. The zinc-plated blades are replaceable.
